• Divorce The breakup of a marriage is often one of the most stressful times in a person's life. Let my expertise and experience in handling divorce make the process as pain free as possible. I handle all aspects of divorce proceedings, including child support, child custody and visitation, spousal support (alimony), and property division.

• Custody and Visitation Disputes over child custody are often the most bitter issues decided in divorce proceedings. An experienced and compassionate attorney who has dealt with many child custody disputes in the Colorado Springs area, I will work with you to find an arrangement that is in the best interests of your children.

• Family Law One of the main focuses of my firm is family law. I handle a full range of Family Law matters, including divorce, separation, premarital agreements, paternity, child custody, child support and spousal support. I will also assist in modifications of support or custody agreements, should circumstances change in the future.

• Criminal Law I handle all types of criminal cases, from minor infractions and misdemeanors to the most serious felony indictments, such as drunk driving (DUI, DWI or OUI), drug possession, narcotics sales, theft and grand larceny, sex offenses, and arson. An experienced criminal law attorney, I practice in both federal and state courts in the Colorado Springs and Pueblo areas.

• Real Estate I represent both commercial clients and individuals in all proceedings and transactions that deal with land and the structures attached to it. This includes, but is not limited to, purchase and sale transactions, commercial leasing, zoning and land use, and development strategies.

• Administrative Law -I have experience in representing clients in all aspects of Federal and state regulation, including administrative appeals and litigation before the courts. I am well versed in the requirements of the Administrative Procedure Act, which deals with administrative hearings and adjudication, administrative investigations, administrative officers and agents, administrative rulemaking, licensing, and regulatory enforcement.

• Business and Commercial Law -I provide a wide variety of services to business clients including assisting in selecting the type of organizational entity under which to operate, negotiating and preparing business agreements, assisting in the sale and purchase of a business, obtaining financing and funding for business operations, and assisting in dissolution or business succession.

• Business Organizations -The form of a business affects every aspect of its operation. I assist clients in formation and business planning, and in deciding whether they want to operate as a closely held business, limited liability company, partnership, or corporation. I advise my clients about directors' and officers' liability, dissolution, franchising, reorganization, trade association membership and activity, joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, business successions, and shareholders' rights.

• Military Law Military law is the body of law and regulations that governs military organizations. For the most part, military law is administered by military lawyers who are uniformed members of the armed forces commissioned into the Judge Advocate Generals' Corp of their respective services. Nevertheless, when charged, a military defendant may elect to be represented by a civilian attorney, at his or her own expense. I have substantial experience with the Uniform Code of Military Justice from my years as a criminal defense lawyer with the U.S. Army where I represented numerous personnel charged with military offenses.

• Motor Vehicle Accidents Motor vehicle accidents often do more than just damage your car. Often, they result in personal injuries to the driver, the occupants, or both. It is possible to receive compensation for your injuries. I have represented countless plaintiffs in the Colorado Springs, Colorado area and have helped them recover the fair compensation they deserve for their injuries.
