Criminal Law

I handle all types of criminal cases, from minor infractions and misdemeanors to the most serious felony indictments. An experienced criminal law attorney, I practice in both federal and state courts in the Colorado Springs and Pueblo areas. My criminal defense practice ranges from major traffic offenses and DUI to murder. I have handled many DWI / DUI cases, and I am experienced with the issues raised regarding blood alcohol content (BAC) and other ways of measuring intoxication.

In addition, I have also handled many narcotics cases in both state and federal court, including possession, possession with intent to sell, sale, trafficking, and manufacturing. These cases have involved a wide variety of drugs, from meth to prescription pills. I am experienced at handling the complex search and seizure issues that often arise in these cases, and I will work aggressively to make sure that all of your constitutional rights are protected.

In addition to my civilian criminal experience, I handled several complex and high-profile military proceedings as a part of the Judge Advocate General's Corps. This work included the defense of a full colonel for conduct unbecoming an officer.
